John
John Barfoot FCCA qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1982 having trained in Belfast, Ballymoney, Huddersfield and London. In 1983 he started his own practice at 8 Broad Street, Magherafelt. The practice now has clients in all types of businesses and professions, throughout the British Isles and abroad.
In order to keep up-to-date with the latest tax and accountancy developments, John regularly attends specialist courses in the UK and Ireland. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
John is treasurer of Magherafelt Chamber of Commerce and the Rainey Endowed School and takes a keen interest in promoting the prosperity of the town.
Outside work, John is interested in farming, music and vintage motorbikes.
Sarah
Sarah Barfoot ACCA graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a B.Sc. in Business Management. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Management Practice from Ulster University. Sarah joined the practice in 2014 and in 2017 qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. She is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
